There are parallels in singing as in life. Singing is natural. The voice tells you where it wants to go, listen, feel and work with it. When you force things or try to hold the voice by pulling up too much mid-range because you feel you don’t have control as you go up the scale, your voice will crack. Relax. Let your voice lead you where it wants to go. Get out of your own way.
