Happy New Year! Just channel your inner Bette Davis.
Fasten your seatbelts, it’s going to be a bumpy night. Whatever 2021 brings we’ll continue to have the fortitude to face it together. Just channel your inner Bette Davis and you’ll be fine.
Necessity has been the mother of invention in 2020. Just look at how creative and innovative we became. Finding new ways to do business and keep connected. Yay for us!
I’ve learned a lot about myself this year. Including how much dark chocolate and carbs I can consume in one sitting. Yeah, baby bring it on! But seriously; staying at home has made me focus my attention, and not become distracted by shiny objects whizzing about my face. I’ve learned to be calm. My tonic is my wine club deliveries and not turning on the news every fricking day. I mean, I’m not burying my head in the sand, just in my glass. Kidding.
I have been craving a simpler life, so I decided back in May to sell my home. For this phase of my life, it feels good once again to be unburdened. Free from a mortgage and all the trappings of home ownership. I’m renting a little house with a yard for Molly. Now if something goes wrong, I call the landlord. One and done, how deeeelightful.
My desire in 2021 is to explore more of my creativity in all its forms, writing, painting and of course music. And maybe throw some clay onto a potters’ wheel.
My sincere hope is there will be an adjustment in the US Senate. Science will once again win the day and get a real handle on the virus in all its forms. That a universal shift in consciousness takes hold like never before. We continue to take care of one another even when this chapter fades to black. And someday soon I can take my new vocal sound system out of the box.
Happy New Year everybody, here comes 2021.
